Established in 1979 by M.A. Raof, a member of an Irani family, our company has a steadfast commitment to providing exceptional quality tea to our customers. With an unwavering passion for tea, our founder established relationships with tea gardens in Assam, Darjeeling, and Nilgiris, overseeing all aspects of production to ensure the highest standards of quality. 

Our journey began in 1971, when M.A. Raof opened his first few tea stores to offer Hyderabad’s famous Irani Tea leaves directly from tea gardens. Following the success of these stores, he founded Royal Tea Traders in 1979, with the aim of bringing high-quality tea to cafes throughout the city. This commitment to quality has earned us a reputation as one of the oldest and most respected tea companies in Hyderabad, and we take pride in continuing the legacy of Hyderabad’s Irani Chai.
